I am currently exploring new ways to explore themes that interest me using print medium.

I am learning how to do both Intaglio and Relief type processes, such as etching and lino cut.

Out of the Strong came forth Sweetness

As part of an Artist Print development residency at the London Print Studios, I am working on a project inspired by the worlds oldest logo - Golden syrup, which depicts a dead lion's carcass beign eaten by bees with the phrase 'Out of the Strong comes forth the Sweetness. Tracing it back to my families links to indian indentured labourers in the West Indies I am exploring the symbols and signs of trade and colonialism using Lino cut as my medium of choice.

Different Lenses

Hand drawn and printed with Photopolymer plates on to Fabriano paper. I explored varying inks and practices such as chine-collé, where tissue is applied during the printing process to add colour.
